Historic Landmarks

Dating back to 1189AD, Nottingham is home not only to Robin Hood but also the oldest pub in England! Packed with history the central region is home to Oxford and Cambridge university as well as Shakespeare's home town of Stratford Upon Avon.

Unique Activities

While history and nature is the order of the day in this region, there are lots of great museums and theme parks including Britains most popular, Alton Towers. Warwick Castle also provides a great family day out while the Peak districts caverns are an underground treat.
