GlasgowDay 1 - 2 Glasgow
The Scottish capital of Glasgow is a modern metropolitan city with a hint of ye olde Scotland and all the romance that goes with it. Explore the brilliant galleries and architecture and get your ultimate romantic getaway to the perfect start.
Lake DistrictDay 3- 5 Lake district
The English lake district is a wonderfully romantic destination. With a gentle meander through lake and mountain views, a sunset boatride across a stunning lake and an evening with a top bottle of red wine in front of a roaring fire in a quiet and quaint English pub. What more could you possibly need?
ChesterDay 6 -7 Chester
Chance for the lady to do a little shopping whilst admiring the old Tudor buildings, the Victorian mall, the grand cathedral and the old city walls. Take a stroll down the old river bank or even better, hire a peddle boat and go for a gentle ride. Whatever your taste, Chester is a lovely place to be.
HarrogateDay 8 Harrogate
The spa town of Harrogate is a friendly northern town with cafe's and tea houses a plenty. A lovely place to spend the day, chill out and relax whilst admiring the old buildings and Yorshire folk going about their day.
YorkDay 9 - 10 York
York is a popular weekend getaway for British couples. A very attractive city, it offers as much or as little to do as you like along with bags of history, one of the best cathedrals in the country and some great museums.
WhitbyDay 11 - 12 Whitby
Whitby is a quaint seaside resort with a long history. Whitby's skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda's Abbey, high on Whitby's East Cliff. Spreading below Whitby, a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run down to the busy quayside. A great place to visit, and look out for the sunset.
NorthumberlandDay 13 - 14 Northumberland
Another popular holiday destination for Brits is that of Northumberland. Covering a large area with stunning landscape and a wonderful castle, it's beautiful, romantic and just a great place to visit during great british trip.
EdinburghDay 15 - 17 Edinburgh
A trip to Edinburgh is sure to be enjoyed both of you. You can lose yourself in the small streets, wander through incredible shops and of course explore the famous castle overlooking the city. Full of culture, romance and plenty to see, it's not one to be missed.
Loch LomondDay 18 - 19 Loch Lomond
It's time to head up to the Scottish Highlands now for more lakes and mountains. Loch Lomond is a brilliant example of just how beautiful Scotland can be. A hotel by the lake is just the ticket as you contemplate life in this little piece of heaven.
Glen coeDay 20 Fort William
After the Islands why not head to the Highlands for more spectacular scenery, Britain's highest mountain and what is widely regarded as one of the best views in Scotland, Glen Coe. If you're the adventurous type you may want to have a go at Ben Nevis but to appreciate true beauty, pack a lunch and admire Glen Coe.
