If you want the flexibility of choosing where you visit each day, combined with the knowledge that you’ll have somewhere to stay each night, then our self-drive tours could be just for you. We’ll arrange a hire car for you that can be collected at any UK airport and many different city locations throughout the UK. We’ll arrange suitable accommodation for you each night as you make your journey through Britain.
We can also arrange attractions tickets and passes, to make your Great British Trip that much better.
You will also receive our Great British Trips Travel pack containing information on all the destinations you’ll visit including destination maps, eating out information and more. As you would expect, you’ll also receive a full itinerary with all your accommodation information for the tour. We can provide you with a GPS for your car, which can be pre-programmed with all your accommodation addresses.
Just tell us where you want to go, and how long you want to take, and we’ll put together you’re perfect itinerary. Start by choosing your destinations along with any extras you might want to include. When you're done choosing, go to 'My Itinerary', complete your information and be sure to tell us that you would like self-drive throughout. We will be back to you in a few days with an itinerary suggestion and price.
Of course if you would like to self-drive just some of your trip, you could combine some of our other transport options including the train or a private driver guide. Many of our customers choose to make the long journey between destinations on the train and then pick up a car on the other end to explore areas that are easier to see with your own transport such as the Scottish Highlands and south Wales. it's our job to work out the best and cheapest combination of transport for you and your individual tour so simply tell us what options you're open to and we will do the rest!
