Your Night-by-Night Itinerary
Sussex — Rye, Hastings & the South Downs
Begin your journey in the enchanting county of Sussex. From the picture-perfect medieval streets of Rye to the historic seafront of Hastings, the south coast offers a captivating first taste of England. Take time to visit Arundel Castle, stroll the dramatic cliffs at Beachy Head, and admire the iconic Seven Sisters — a photographer’s dream of chalky white cliffs meeting the sea.
Bridgerton connection: The visit to Firle Place is included in your stay. Set in the heart of the South Downs National Park, this estate stands in for Ledger Estate — the home of Violet Ledger, who later becomes Violet Bridgerton — and offers exceptional views across the surrounding countryside.
Bath — The Regency Spa City
Continue to the magnificent city of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and the only spa city in the United Kingdom. Renowned for its elegant Georgian architecture, world-famous thermal baths, and thriving arts scene, Bath was also home to Jane Austen — whose work was profoundly shaped by her years here.
Bridgerton connection: A visit to Wilton House is included — it served as St James’s Palace in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, with both its magnificent interior and exterior featuring throughout the series. In the city itself, stroll Royal Crescent, Alfred Street, and Beaufort Square — all used as atmospheric backdrops in the show — and look out for the Holburne Museum, which doubles as the exterior of Lady Danbury’s house.
The Cotswolds — Stately Homes & Honey-Stone Villages
Spend two nights in the Cotswolds — an iconic vision of rolling hills, dry-stone walls, medieval churches, and gloriously preserved villages including Castle Combe, often proclaimed the most beautiful village in England. Three Bridgerton-themed visits are included across your two days here.
Bridgerton connection: Your first day takes you to Blenheim Palace, the regal backdrop for King George’s residence and one of the series’ most striking settings. On day two, explore Waddesdon Manor, whose botanical gardens and greenhouse feature in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, before continuing to Wrest Park — where sharp-eyed fans will recognise the famous bee sting scene and the Aubrey Hall orangery where Prudence and Lord Featherington are caught by surprise. All three visits are included.
Windsor — Royal Splendour & Grand Palaces
Your final stage brings you to the regal town of Windsor, just 30 kilometres from London. Home to Windsor Castle — the largest occupied castle in the world with over 1,000 rooms — the town’s charming streets and magnificent Windsor Great Park make for a fitting finale to this Regency-inspired adventure.
Bridgerton connection: A visit to Dorney Court is included — this magnificent Tudor manor dating back to 1440 represents the Danbury family home in Queen Charlotte, and also serves as the inn where Daphne and Simon spend their wedding night in Season 1. Finally, visit the breathtaking Hampton Court Palace, the setting for Anthony and Edwina’s near-wedding, as well as the Queen’s court and the exterior of the print shop. Both visits are included in your stay.
